drumkit from hell

Re: drumkit from hell

Every single one of my recordings post 2004 or so has used it, and I would die without the program. I rely on it for my songwriting and drumtracks!

DFHS:

- http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=839631 (all tracks, old mixes)

Superior 2.0:

I've only been seriously using S2.0 for about a month, so most of the stuff with DFHS is mixed a bit better. That said I love the sounds in S2.0 quite a bit more than in DFHS and just need to get my head around the program a bit. I've had almost zero time to play with it and just ordered a new recording PC, so expected a massive influx of killer clips with it soon!

Re: drumkit from hell

****! i remember the first song in soundclick! i heard it a very long time ago, it kicks ass!

Re: drumkit from hell

thanks for the clips man! i like the sounds for the superious 2.0 better as well despite the lack of time you put into it.

can you tell me price differences? and which one is easier to get used to?

Re: drumkit from hell

DFHS was discontinued as soon as S2.0 was released. DFHS cost 260 originally and the upgrade to S2.0 was 130, and I'm not sure on the cost of it as a standalone. Check out http://www.sweetwater.com for that.

As far as easiest to get used to, I'd go with something from the EZdrummer line - the stock kit is actually pretty **** cool, and the Nashville kit is really nice.
