DS-1 with feedback/oscillator mod

Hey everybody. I've collected quite a few pedals over the years. As far as distortion pedals go, I have a TS808, Guv'nor, Blues Driver, and DS-1. While each one has it's own character, they really all do the same general thing. I figured I'd look around and see if there's a mod out there to add a little something extra to one of them. I saw a couple youtube videos of people who basically turned their DS-1's into Fuzz Factory-style pedals (heavy distortion with some feedback abilities). I'm not looking for all the bells and whistles that these pedals can offer, I just want a stripped down, no frills option. Really, if I could limit it to Volume, Drive, and a knob to handle Feedback, that would be ideal. Anybody have any ideas?

wow, I didn't know peeps were turning them into fuzz factory type boxes, that's cool.

re : feedback...my first pedal was a BOSS super feedbacker & distortion. It was a ds1 with a cool function that if you held down the pedal it would loop any note you are playing into feedback - with a control for the overtone produced.
You can find these cheap on ebay still.

This sounds amazing. I've never heard of it before but I think I need one.

And to the OP, that striped guitar in your avatar is freakin' sexy.

Looks like the DF-2 is pretty much what I'm after!

As far as who is doing the fuzz factory style mod, there are a couple different options I've seen. There are two I can still find: one is to do a circuit bend, the other is the DAED Distrubo. They're neat options. But there was one I found a while back that was called the fuzz factory mod, and it was one knob with a switch on the side that controlled the feedback. For the life of me, I can't find it anywhere now, but it seemed like the ideal mod for what I'm looking for.

Thanks! That's "Tuesday," a guitar I've been slowly working on for about a year now. She started out as a black Squier Esprit. There are a few final touches I need to do still, then she'll be all ready for wiring and setup.
