Hi everyone and greetings from Ireland,
I'm new here and I need help with my new DTAR Wavelength Multisource acoustic pickup..
I bought it on the back of excellent reviews and the SD reputation (I'm a longtime user of your electric pickups)..
but this unit is breaking my heart.. I have it in my handmade 'ooo' size acoustic (great guitar) and encounter terrible feedback problems that I feel is an issue with the microphone. It resonates and drives every soundman we have mad, regularly spoiling the acoustic set of our gigs. I bought it for 'plug and play' handiness and it's most definitely not that.
The key issue is that I'm unable to get a 100% undersaddle only signal.. there is no output without the microphone being dialed in somewhat and this causes resonances and volatile frequencies to appear.
Im using the LR Baggs 'Para-acoustic' for onstage control and I had hoped that this setup would give me an excellent sound...pickup and preamp were by no means cheap..(for me at least)
Could someone please advise me what to do or whether I have a defective product??
many thanks,
David.
