I'm having a solid body acoustic built (like a Guild Peregrine type guitar) and I want to load it with a Wavelength. I want to have the volume and tone wired to pots on the the guitar. I can't use the v/t module...well, because there isn't going to be a sound hole. On the DTAR site under the resources tab is a wiring pdf for the Timberline to control knobs...I need to know if this is accurate for the Wavelength and if not what the steps are. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Re: DTAR Wavelenth Wiring HELP!!!!

Assuming the "module" contains a preamp, I'm going to assume the controls are mounted to the pcb inside the enclosure? If that's the case, you'll need a different preamp that allows you to use your choice of pots, or that comes with pots.

Can you have a body-side module installed?

Re: DTAR Wavelenth Wiring HELP!!!!

The wavelength pickup comes with preamp. The module is a plug in add on. I know the preamp is similar to the Timberline which has detailed instructions on how to wire pots. I was just wondering if anybody and any experience with wiring the Wavelength and if it was the same.

Re: DTAR Wavelenth Wiring HELP!!!!

Sorry, I have no hands-on experience with either of those, just the LR Baggs T-bridge, and acoustic under-saddle and disc-type transducers. Can you find this info on the respective homepages? In their wiring diagrams? Or are these made by the same company? If they are, then I would assume the wiring is standardized, like Duncan's pickups are.
