hi guys I found a nice deal on a duckbucker which is a pickup I've always wanted to try in the middle position but the one for sale is unfortunately a bridge model :(
I think I'm going to buy it anyway and try putting it in as a middle pickup, have any of you guys done this or know what I should expect?
also if putting it in the middle position doesn't work well then I can save it for when I get an s-s-s pickguard and then put it in the bridge, I've seen a lot of people used it as a neck/middle pickup but not many as a bridge pickup, would it sound good?
the axe I'm going to put it in is a fender strat with a maple neck/fretboard and alder body.
thanks in forward, guys :D

That would be fine. The bridge version is only slightly hotter / darker than the neck and middle. The bridge model is still in the vintage output and tone realm. I have a Strat will a full set of Duckbuckers, so I'm not taking a wild guess on this one.
