Duckbucker or SSL2 for H”S”H

Howdy. I got back my 90s main guitar back from storage after it had been ignored due to its lo-pro Edge trem. I never use a trem these days. It’s 24 frets, neck through body all maple.

It has a Jazz JB set with a hot rails in the middle. Each pickup has a three way mini toggle for split off and series. The hot rails doesn’t make sense to me anymore so I want to swap it for something that could give me some qua k with the split coils. What say you duckbucker, SSL2 or something else?

I play rock/classic rock into a tweed deluxe.

Thanks!

I'd opt for the SSL-2 here, as you don't gain anything from using the quiet Duckbuckers along with 1 coil of a humbucker.

Thanks, that makes sense. Do I need normal or RWRP?
