Duckbuckers for Mustang

I've been looking for a good hum-cancelling single-coil for my mustang reissue. I think I'm in love with the Duckbucker.

Will a Duckbucker work in 2015 Fender '65 Mustang reissue?

Will it fit?

Will magnet spacing be a problem?

And - most importantly - can i rig it up to keep the wacky mustang wiring and get those crazy mustang sounds with a Duckbucker?

I have the specs for a Vintage Rails, so you can measure if your guitar has the same dimensions. The 'dimensions' page of the Dusckbucker doesn't seem to be there, but the Vintage Rails is really close, and string spacing won't be a problem.

I had a set of Bill Lawrence L-250s in my ‘72 Mustang. They sounded great.

Mustang pickups are the same as Strat pickups, but with closed covers (and no magnet stagger). The reason for the closed covers is to prevent hum if you touch the magnets with the pickup polarity reversed.

Thanks, guys. I'm going to try the Duckbuckers. Support confirmed they will fit.

My biggest concern is still whether the series and parallel wiring will sound cool like it does with true single-coils.

Right now, my mustang is so noisy (due to the old wiring in my house, I think) that I can only use it with both pickups engage in the hum-cancelling configuration. No fun.
