The last couple times I checked out the Duncan website, the pix of the pickups wouldn't load. Is this on purpose, or something else?

Re: Dumb Q about the Duncan website

Have you tried a simple one, like first asking for humbucker or Stratocaster, etc..then putting in the search bar... "Custom 5".
Some p'up's need the SH-"number" like SH-1 or APH-1. I'll go there right now and be right back, gonna ask for humbuckers.
Ok, I just hit humbuckers and the whole field populated with them all .. I then put in search bar "Jazz neck" spelled just like that and it popped up fine. Maybe try again. I had no problem.
Good luck. I am using my iPad.

The p'ups' pictures load just fine.

The problems is either your computer or the internet connection.

I haven't noticed it, but if you see it on specific pages (I am on here/there a lot), let me know, and I will check. If it is indeed the case, I will try to let the right people know.

Re: Dumb Q about the Duncan website

I should have known better than to ask....

The guy who said there's an issue with your computer or internet connection is probably right. Over on Mandolin Cafe, people regularly mention a certain feature of the site isn't working for them. The guy who runs the page pops up, gives suggestions, and it's always solved by clearing out their cache, tweaking some setting, or some other adjustment on the user's end.

Probably on purpose. Have you considered that maybe the website recognizes that you know everything and therefore don't need to see the pics?

Re: Dumb Q about the Duncan website

Well, I do have over $5000 in Duncan pickups in stock. Guess I could just go look at them.

Come on friends, let's calm down and take a breath, and play some groovy music today.

Re: Dumb Q about the Duncan website

Ah, so you bought the Zephyrs.

No. but if a client ponied up a substantial downpayment.....
I have boxes of Hot Rodded Humbucker sets for the most part.... BIG sellers, of course.

What percentage of what you sell happen to be that set? Just curious, really.

Re: Dumb Q about the Duncan website

When I make a big order, I usually want at least 30 Hot Rod sets.... I often sell to guys with music stores in South America who pop for 3 at once. It's like 3 to 1 Hot Rod sets... Pearly Gates sell well. I prefer to stock sets, but order singles for clients (like Dimebuckers for the metal guys). Had a number of inquiries about Saturday Night Specials and Bonamassa stuff about 6 months ago, but no one ponied up down payments. Having a lull right now, but it will "pick up"...

By the way, I have an appointment with GeekSquad to figure out the picture problem. It's not critical, but it is annoying.

I think the original topic has discussed enough.
