I orderded the SH-1n Duncan 59 neck with 4 counductors but to my surprise it has long legs. I am affraid I wont be able to install it in a guitar with direct mount, still I can use it in a Superstrat with a pickguard.

Is there an SH-1n Duncan 59 neck with 4 counductors AND short legs?

Default for 59 is long legs, because that's what they were ...wait for it ...in '59. You could also find a neck model that was pulled from a Jackson or Charvel.

Yeah, default is long legs. You can order them with short legs, though, and some OEM ones out there have short legs. Maybe a baseplate transplant?

Strange, I reache them and they say it won't fit a Ducan 59 neck

As far as humbucker pickups go, there is nothing unusual about the size or shape of a 59. You must have misunderstood what he was saying. Those (or any other humbucker baseplates) will fit as long as you have the correct pole spacing.
