Duncan '59 or Jazz Humbucker in neck for MY SOUND ?

Hello guys and girls!

I have to replace my old (broken) pickups with new ones from Duncan. I might take a JB for the brifge but i am not sure what to take for the NECK position. I cannot decide between a 59 or Jazz HB.

Could you please describe the differences of these two (tone wise), please !

By the way, i have a mahagony/maple top guitar body without trem. And i look for a articulate, rounded sound that is NOT too bassy or muddy. A BIT of a "hollow" sound (just imagine strat neck sc) would be nice, if possible.

So, what would be better ? Thanx in advance

Definitely not the '59 neck IMO.....

It's said JazzN and 59N are similar but the Jazz has less bass btw....

Definitely the Jazz over the 59 here. The 59 has a bit too much bass for my tastes. The Jazz is clearer, and to me it has a bit of a hollow sound, although I find the 59 to be smoother overall.

GO WITH THE JAZZ!!!!! I used to roll the 59 in the neck & it was muff city!!! ( I had 500K pots too) I now have the jazz & its way better. Unless you get the 59 & use 1 meg pots. (huh i said pot!! lol )= ):duck: :duck: :duck: :duck: :poed: :duck: :18: : popworm:  :beerchug: :cool3: :jester: :dot: :duck: :poed: :33: :arg: :eyecrazy: :nana: ;) :scared: :sword: :?: :oh: :foot: :cop:
