Duncan custom hybrid with a A2 or ??? for old and new Neal schon?

I know neal is using the custom-custom in all his guitars these days, but what duncan would be best for his
older classic tones as well as the new?
I was thinking a Hybrid custom with a A2 to cover both his higher output custom-custom tones and also
his lower output PAF tones which he used for years with journey.
is this the best option or should i just use the WLH i have in there now?
If i did get a hybrid and put a A2 in it how different from the WLH will it be?
I was using the 59 for a while, and now i have the WLH which is awesome and closer to a custom-custom.
Before anyone says just use a custom-custom, i don't like 14K pickups, they are not open enough and do not clean up as well.
Amp is a marshall JVM.

Yeah, that'll do it. Don't play too much Journey but I can certainly get those tones with the right amp and my a2 59/C hybrid. It reminds me of the Custom Custom a lot but is cleaner with more top end. Still kicks the amp well enough. Dunno how it compares to the WLH.

Thats sounds like it will be perfect. custom-custom but cleaner and more top end is pretty much what it would take to get a combination of his tones old and new.
The WLH is really great but does not really get his newer custom - custom tones that well

I agree, the C/59 with A2 will give you cleaner tones with a bit more high end than a CC (C2).
