This is a nickel Custom 5 wound in the Custom Shop at the 2005 User Group Day.
It's been wound past the 14.4K spec to 15K.
It sounds like a cross between a C5 and JB. 4 lead. Pushes a Marshall nicely! $100 Shipped Priority 2 Day.

Not sure, but I think black. Gibson spacing...not trembucker.

Spacing is never an issue since the magnetic field picks up everything equally. Bobbin color is what it is.

I dropped an A8 magnet in the current pickup in the LP. Tonally very similar but there’s just “more” of everything. Sustain is ridiculously good.
