duncan designed beq-2 preamp info/opinions?

Hello there.
Anybody know anything about the beq-2 preamp?
It could be mine for a low prize, but is it worth installing it?
What frequencies are getting boosted, noise levels and so on?

Any basses come with this preamp so I could check out some sound samples of it somewhere?

anybody?

Never actually seen any for definite.

The most likely place to find this EQ harness is as OEM on a bass guitar with Duncan Designed pickups. My best guesses would be import instruments hailing from the Cort factory in Indonesia. Could be Squier, Cort, Jackson, Schecter, Ibanez Soundgear. Those sorts of brand names. Probably running with JJ or PJ Duncan Designed pickups.

The Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar Bass has DD pickups and 2-band active EQ. There is now a Squier VM Jazz Bass V. Either of these models would probably your best candidate to check out.
