Duncan Designed HB102 screws

Does anyone know the correct screws for mounting the DD HB102 pickups? Is it M3 or #3 3-48 x 1 1/4"? Also why do people sell pickups WITHOUT these screws in the first place?

Not sure. I had one where I reamed the hole for a larger screw, then wound up glueing a nut to the base plate that fit the bolts I used to attach the pickup to the ring.

Pickup manufacturers supply brand new pickups with the correct screws;
1) To ensure a correct fit.
2) To ensure correct appearance. (e.g. induced tarnishing and wear on SD Antiquity models.)
3) To prevent some customers whinging that screws had not been supplied.

I'm pretty sure he meant "why do people sell pickups *without* these screws in the first place?"

IMO, if the question wasn't worth the effort of typing out correctly, it wasn't worth the effort of answering.

Fender sells these as replacement parts without the screws and springs.

I was just having the same problem with a couple of SC-101 that I am putting in a Frankenstrat to sell. Please post if you find where to get them. I will post if I find anything.
