Duncan Designed TE 101 pickups, are they Ceramic or alnico ?

Guys, I've been looking all over the net for a answer to this but I can't find any answers. I have a Duncan designed TE-101B which I bought a few weeks ago. I wanted to install it in my Squier Affinity Butterscotch Tele but the stock pup screws were too big for it. Now I've come across a set of screws that fit the pickup and I now want to install it. But my stock neck pickup is ceramic and I need to know if my TE-101B is ceramic or Alnico. If anyone can give me a answer to this, I would really appreciate it, thanks.

Actually, in all reality, you don't need to know if the TE-101B is alnico or ceramic BECAUSE of your neck pickup being ceramic. It doesn't matter. You can mix magnet types all day long as long as it gets the sound you want.

However, the TE-101B is alnico. If it were ceramic it would have a ceramic bar magnet stuck to the bottom of it.

I said to hell with it and just got done installing it using the out of phase method and you know what ? The damn thing sounds frigging great ! It's in sync with my neck pickup and now my Tele sounds much more clearer with a little bit of a more aggressive tone as well. I love it. !

The DD TE101B should have rod magnet polepieces through the bobbin rather than an underslung bar. I'd say Alnico 5.

EDIT - I stopped worrying about the exact magnet material when I heard G&L ASAT Classic pickups - adjustable pole pieces, underslung ceramic bar magnets, convincing Tele tone.

Funkfingers is right. Alnico 5 rod pole pieces.

Yeah, I did some research and found out that those are the ones that are used on the Squier Vintage Modified Telecasters in the Bridge Position. No wonder why they sound go damn good.

Its good to know that TE-101B is alnico. I will buy one of this soon, either 101 or 103. Thanks for the clarification.
