Hey all

Well im still looking for new pups, and would REALLY like the distortion for bridge. I can get the matched set named SEYMOUR DUNCAN SSH-6 SET DISTORTION MAYHEM. But this means i would need to install a distortion in the neck position too.

How would that do in a neck position?

Re: Duncan Distortion for neck

It's not the same pickup. It's a hot pickup designed for the neck position. I didn't like the Distortion neck on its own, but with an Alnico 5 magnet, it's pretty useable. I don't have much experience with neck pickups, because I've only tried a few, but it was certainly tweakable to be a nice pickup. By the way, if you're looking for neck-position solos with high gain, this may be exactly what you need.

I think you may get a better response if you describe what kind of guitar you're looking to put the set in and what type of music you play. I've got mine in a Les Paul Studio, for the record.

Also, don't be afraid to take advantage of the 21-day return policy if you don't like it.
