Duncan Distortion Question

Have any of you tried a Duncan Distortion with a 500k volume pot and bypassed tone pot? Does it sound any good? Thoughts? Thanks!

Which would give more treble, bypassing the tone pot or going from a 300k volume pot to a 500k?

.....I've been running 500k pots with no tone pot or cap with the SH-6 since 1991.... it remains my definitive "setup" and every guitar I have uses exactly this!...even bypassing the 500k pot entirely for solos.

...works for me!, but this is something each of us has to determine for him/herself as to what works best.. :)
