Duncan Invader SH-8B with a weird serial number stamped

Hi,

have anyone seen Duncan Invader with a serial number (or something) stamped on the base plate? I recently bought this pickup from private seller here in Finland. I've never seen one before. I contacted Duncan customer service and I was informed that according to the numbers in the sticker this pickup was made in 2017.

Looks like the manufacturer of whatever guitar that pickup originally came in serialized the pickup. Maybe it was a limited-run guitar or something. I doubt it came from SD that way and the fact that the pickup was clearly made in 2017 and the serial has a 2018 date suggests it was serialized post-production and didn't come from the factory this way.
