Duncan Rails Pickup with 'BC' Sticker underneath

Hey guys.

During a recent clear out of stuff to sell, there will hopefully be a thread soon, I came across an old looking Seymour Duncan single coil rails pickup with a sticker on the bottom that says 'BC'.

I just wondered if anyone knew what it meant and if was an indetifying mark as to what pickup it actually is.

Thanks for any info you can offer.

Craig.

Just BC or is there a third letter for the winder's initial? e.g. BCJ. Could be a Hot Rails.

Just had another check of the pickup and there's a white label/sticker on the bottom that just says BC.

I thought it a bit odd there were only 2 letters.

Might be Bridge Cool Rails.

Any chance you could measure the DC resistance?

Re: Duncan Rails Pickup with 'BC' Sticker underneath

It could just mean "black cover" which is the suffix of most model numbers.

No, folks. It really is a Hot Rails.

Check in the FAQ section of the SD website. :)

Hey guys.

Thanks for the info.

I just wanted to know what it was so that I list it as the correct pickup when I sell it.
