elelpe Well-known member Aug 1, 2012 #2 Re: Duncan SM-3B for punk and loud rock? I think you'd better go with SM-2 (and maybe 250k pot, depending on the interaction with your guitar). It's hotter than SM-3, which is a fuller SM-1.
