Duncan Soapbar covers - removable?

Just got a cream pair on Ebay - a Custom & a Hot. Then I won a pair of black Fralins as well, which is what I really plan to use. If I want to mix them can I swap the Duncan covers for black ones?

I know they are definately removable.. the cover acts as kind of a shroud. With the screws removed, the cover comes right off. I'm not sure if it will fit the Fralins, though.
