Duncan Twin Tube Pedal

Re: Duncan Twin Tube Pedal

I have to say I am also curious

I am also curious about the Damage Control & ToneBone pedals

I own an OCD and FD2 (I used to have a VTWIN too) - that was a lot of money on pedals. I just don't have the inclination to buy the ToneBone, Duncan, Damage Control and every other pedal on the market. I am waiting for someone to tell me which is the hands down winner THRU A MARSHALL, esp an NMV.

Re: Duncan Twin Tube Pedal

there are so many pedals out there that they are starting to sound the same. one of the threads i started a little while back had a link of some guy that compared 12 different overdrive/ booster pedals. most of them i couldnt even tell the difference between them. its hard to find the right one that suits "your needs" since most stores don't stock good/boutique pedals. there are no stores around me that i can drive to and just plug into a maxon od-808 or fulltone ocd to test out. as for the SD twin tube, correct me if im wrong but i think guitar center carries them if u wanna try it out.

Well said,
I have tried quite a few overdrive pedals over the last few years, and always end up going back to my Marshall Bluesbreaker II or the Marshall Jackhammer, which both cost $69.00 and IMHO sound just as good or better than most pedals that cost twice as much or more.

Re: Duncan Twin Tube Pedal

I've got one. I definitley like it. I'm also a fan of the fulltone fulldrive 2 mosfet anny issue.

I'm kinda torn as to which one I like better. The problem I have is that I've never been a huge fan of *any* drive/OD pedal. But, so far, after going trhough a lot of them over the last few years, the FD2 and the SFX-03 are the only ones I still hole onto.

Re: Duncan Twin Tube Pedal

The SFX-03 is great if you have a good sounding guitar and a good sounding amp...it sounds just like adding 2 more channels to your amp...LOVE IT!
