Here's a few for sale. I can only accept postal money orders. PM me if you want one. All are in great cond. w/full length leads. US sales only.
Nickel covered Custom 5. 4 lead. Reg spaced. Paid $100. Sell for $70 shipped.
Nickel covered 59 bridge. wire braid 2 lead. $60 shipped.
The only trade I'll consider is a Twangbanger in new condition.
EDIT - Another added! Nickel covered CUSTOM 4!!! $50 shipped
here's the deal - This started as a Custom 5 and I installed an Alnico 4 magnet. The tone is like a Custom 5 with a tiny bit less bass, a bit more mids, and nice open vintage top end. It's a very articulate pickup like a 59 or Jazz, but has the power of the C-5 or CC. It's the perfect pickup for a guitar where you want power and clarity like a 335 or Explorer.
Why only $50 shipped??? With the nickel cover on, it looks perfect, but you cannot remove the nickel because the plastic bobbins got a little messed up from the heat of potting it. There are no negatives to the look or sound.....the leads are long, the nickel is nice, but you can't use it as an exposed coil pickup anymore. JUMP ON THIS. DUNCAN DOESN'T SELL Custom 4's.
