Ran across this nice article that describes various pedal bypass techniques... it has pics, which is useful, but I mainly posted it here because of the nice dunlop/mxr product chart that shows which bypass method is used for each pedal. Quite a few MXR pedals are actually true bypass (new dyna-comp, carbon copy, crybaby classic, to name a few).
