Dunlop Power Brick ????

Re: Dunlop Power Brick ????

I was just a GC and the sales guy was showing me all the different power bricks. I should have asked that question myself now that I think about it. But I don't think it would work but i'm not a tech so I really wouldn't know.

Re: Dunlop Power Brick ????

I have the old style Dunlop Power Brick. It's got the 7 9v outputs and 3 that are labeled 18v on the side. Are those 18v only or can I SAFELY run 9v pedals on those outputs and be OK?

This is the one I have:

Its pedal dependent. If your pedal can be safely run with 18v, then by all means. I have the Dunlop Brick on my small board. A couple of my vintage BOSS pedals require 12v and run great off of the 18v ports, but my Ethos OD cannot exceed 18.9v so I don't risk it with my DC Brick. Cheers~

Those are 18V only. If you've got a 9V pedal that can't be run any higher you don't want to plug into those.

MXR/Dunlop EQ pedals that run at 18V are what those outputs were designed for.
