Dunlop Rotovibe question

I understand the Rotovibe is essentially a foot-controlled phaser, and you can get some decent Gilmour/Hendrix sounds out of it. When you dial the speed back all the way, can you get that Eddie Van Halen lead tone, like in the tapping part in Eruption?

Re: Dunlop Rotovibe question

Basically, a good phaser can sound similar to a Vibe, but a vibe really doesn't sound much like a phaser on it's own. as TGWIF stated, it's really it's own thing. I just tried it with my chicken salad vibe (different from a rotovibe, but same ballpark) and it didn't give much.

Good difference in the two, listen to David Gilmour on the first track on DSOTM, Breath. Then listen to "Shine on You crazy Diamond" about 4 mins in the famous "Syd" riff is a phase 90. They sound similar, but not nearly the same.
