Hey, i wonder if you can help me.... im looking to replace the pickups from my SG, its a 3 pickup tokai.
I currently only have one guitar remaining (i have been selling them like crazy recently) and its an Ibanez SZ with a Tone Zone in the bridge and a PAF in the neck.. im pretty happy with that, but i want something a little less harsh in the bridge
im looking tone wise something near with the dynamics of the foo fighters, with the possibility of smooth solos on the neck (thinking of an alnico II there.. of course im thinking slash ish).. also the soundgarden tone (i have heard someone using a humbucker size p90 for thoes... which turned out quite well, had a bit of a twang to it, but i want humbuckers)
i was thinking JB, Jazz, Alnico II.. but im really unsure.. i would rather avoid using the JB again, it just strikes me as a cop out choice.
