East of the Sun (messing around with Garage Band)

I decided it's about time for me to learn the basics of Garage Band, so I recorded a cover of East of the Sun.

I did everything myself except for the drums, and those came from a GB loop. So they're not very exciting, no fills, etc. Bass and guitar rhythm tracks went straight into the computer, and for the lead work I recorded my amp and guitar with a Zoom H2.

The playing is obviously not my best (not that I'm ever really happy with what I record) but this was mainly a learning experience anyway (which is why I only played for 3 choruses). Garage Band is a neat program, I'll probably end up using it more often.

Criticism of playing and sound are welcome, thanks!

I like your playing, very relaxed. I'm not a fan of this kind of music at all, so I can't really comment on it much.
The sound quality isn't bad and it sounds pretty professional - like I say though, it's not the sort of stuff I would listen to myself. I'd imagine the jazz fans in here would love it though!
