I just want to post that I own an Eastman T386 in the cherry finish. Beautiful guitar, plays great, and when I got it the sound out of the Kent Armstrong designed pickups weren't bad. However, the bass pickup sounded a bit muddy and the treble pickup although really clear missed some mojo and bite. Fast forward, I ordered Seth Lovers and had them installed. All I can say is wow! Significant improvement in tone. I really love the way these pickups sound in the T386. So for those Eastman T386 owners who may be looking to upgrade the pickups, I give a 2 thumbs up for the Seth Lovers. But beware, the luthier who installed them said it was a major PITA to take out the Kent Armstrongs. He said the way they were in there was really tight and it took him quite some time to remove. He also had to do a little shaping to fit the Seth Lovers in. No major drilling of anything, but a little shaving. Anyone else have experience with pickup upgrades for this guitar?
