I'm looking at the following Ebanol nut to replace the Floyd nut on my EVH Wolfgang Special (since I think the whole floyd+fine tuners thing just unnecessarily complicates a hardtail guitar):
http://www.allparts.com/BN-0623-023-ABM-7092-Ebanol-Nut-for-Floyd-Rose_p_775.html
Problem is, it looks like this would only replace a Floyd nut that mounts from the top (fretboard) side of the neck, not the more common rear-mounted Floyd nut that's on my guitar (the one w/ the two bolts in the back of the neck that secures it).
I can't seem to find anything on the net showing whether or not these Ebanol nuts can be used to replace rear-mounted Floyd nuts.
Anyone know for sure?
