EBay score - Orange Rockerverb

My son just got it in today, a rockerverb 50, man is that thing sweet. Only been playing through it for about 30 min, but wow there is a lot there and so far it all seems good!

A simple question, we got 2 footswitches, one for the reverb, one for the channels. These have the quarter inch jacks, do we need a speaker cable for connection or some other type (I'm sure it's not a guitar cord, right)? Thanks!

Actually I'm pretty sure you should just use instrument cables!

Those are great amps! have fun with it!!!

Rock On :)

Re: EBay score - Orange Rockerverb

i've never played one...but they sound like they would be an awesome amp from all i've read!?

Re: EBay score - Orange Rockerverb

Never played one either (well at least a recent one...I played one 20 years ago...) they have a seriously cool crunchy sound.....I've thought about grabbing one recently...even one of the "crush" solid state amps...

Re: EBay score - Orange Rockerverb

This is going to be my next amp. I'm just in the planning and saving stage right now though.

But for the answer about the footswitch jacks, its accepts standard instrument cable.

if it's the 2x12 combo and something happens and you need to get rid of it quick...PM me :D

Man I wanted one of those so bad. DEFINATELY a good score!

Re: EBay score - Orange Rockerverb

Any Marshall style footswitch will work, and the footswitch uses an instrument cable. The only thing you need a speaker cable for, is from the amp to the speakers.

Re: EBay score - Orange Rockerverb

I saw and heard one last night, and it looked so cool as a head/2-12 Orange setup.
What tubes do those have in them? They cover the back, so you can't see the tubes.
