Because someone will buy it, thinking it was special.

If someone can invent an app for the iphone that is just a diamond spinning and shining, and sell it for $10k, people will buy it.

There are either people with too much cash to care what they do with it, or are a sucker.

Have you seen the MXR pedal in our classifieds that routinely sells in the $50 range (including the auction where the seller bought it) going for $150?

The world is full of stupid people, and all it takes is one to hit the buy it now.

I bought that pedal around a year ago, and I think it was the best $30 I've ever spent.

It's well worth the current $39.95 because it's a $100 pedal. Those higher priced auctions are a bit premature. But because of the limited graphics, they will go up in value......just not yet.

Now, if only they'd offer the 78 Distortion at $30 or $40....

It's hard to tell exactly what someone means when they fly that flag, unless you know them really well. Try not to read too much into it, and let the person's actions and words speak for themselves.

Slavery wasnt a descive concern of the split between the agrarian South and the Mercantile North. The slavery issue was used by the North to add fuel to the fire or their conquest, but was not an irreconcilable difference between both factions.

This is flat-out wrong and I'm giving you the credit of ignorance by not calling it irresponsible to boot.

this thread is like a nice and cool glass of lemonade, then someone dumps in the lemonade, then someone tries to wring out the dump to preserve the lemonade, now you've got brownish lemonade and no one likes you.
