My effects loop doesn't have an on/off switch, so I don't really want it 
I was wondering how it would be possible to have two "routes" to a single amp. Like so:
Route 1: Pure, unadulterated, tone-preserved. Angus Young styley.
Route 2: A small chain of slightly tone-splattering, but groovy effects. Tom Morello styley.
My best guess is to connect some kind of bypass switch up to the two paths with a female+female->male adaptor into the amp.
Anyone operate this kind of system?
