Effects Loop. To be or not to be?

That is the question. So after trying out lots of different heads i've found soldano is exactly what I'm looking for. Getting the Avenger, but here is the thing..they said they could put in an effects loop for a hundred bucks. Now I have a gt-8. But I since I didn't think it was coming with a loop I was gonna sell the gt-8, and buy a few pedals, which I was going to place in front of the amp. What to do..

That's a tough choice, but really what's $100 in the grand scheme of things? It is a Soldano, after all, what does that come out to percentage wise? You can bypass it if you don't like it, right? Not to mention, down the road it's going to increase the value if you ever have to/want to sell it.

heh. Well I already overspent what I should have. I've been eating rammen noodles for the past week because of this. : P But you do make a valid point.

Dude, when I bought my first real amp I was eating ramen noodles both literally and figuratively for a month. ;)

Have you tried the GT8 in front of the amp?

I thought most multi effect boards were made to go in front...
