so im amp shopping and as of now i have 2 semi decent solid state half stacks...and i want a tube amp. ive narrowed it down to 3 diffrent egnaters...the armageddon the vengance or the tweaker, keeping in mind my other guitarist uses a 50watt mesa single rec i could use any of them and not totally over shadow him.. the tweaker is the cheapest and i like the crunch it has..actually its pretty viceral, the vengance is just and armageddon with less bells and whistles. so im think the tweaker is the best bag for buck, what do you guys think?

Tweaker is extremely versatile. I agree to check out Jet City and Blackstar...they've gotten some pretty good reviews as well.

You're talking about the Tweaker 88, right? The 15 watt Tweaker will get buried by that Mesa.

yeah im lookin at the 88 or the 40...but im gonna go to gc today with one of my guitars and play them and see which i like better

i have an egnater renegade. 65 watts of pure awesome, id never trade or sell this amp. its like the perfect amp in my mind

I have not tried it, but I would go with the tried and true marshall!!

that is gonna be a big leap of tone for ya right there with less tweakage...

The Tweaker 40 is very loud. (I've got a Rebel 30 that I can't get past "4"). Marshall does make some great sounding amps, but Egnater also sounds great at 1/4th the cost.

I'd say the Tweaker is more versatile than the other two you listed and 40 watts will be plenty loud.

It's crazy how versatile the Tweaker is. Get the 40 and call it a day. Two channels of anything you want.

im goin with the 88....i like the 40 but i want the bost for each channel and i have the opption of gettin much louder that wayh

I love my tweaker 15, I would love to get one of the bigger ones eventually for the additional headroom, but a two amp setup is a little more fun for me right now :)

i just put the alexi laiho pickup and boost switch in my ibanez arz400 and i think if i get this tweaker im gonna kill neighborhood pets with shear viceral distorted guitar tone!
