EHX Pedal Issue

Hello,
I have an Electro Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man (the previous enclosure, not the updated smaller version). The pedal initially was giving the dreaded POP! Now it does not have sound. It is still functional and LED's are working too.

I have checked other forums and have found the issues to be remedied by 'pulldown resistor' soldering and/or change out the footswitch.
If anyone could offer suggestions or any direction to head, I appreciate it!

If "it does not have sound," how is it "still functional?"

I'd send it to Howard Davies, the inventor of the DMM and other vintage EHX effects. He repairs them and makes sure they're up to spec.

Try cleaning the switch. Deoxit is a good brand of cleaner. Spray some into the foot button. Hit the button a few times to clean it. Wait a little bit, depending on how much you used. Give that a try.
