I am pleased to report that the Cock rocks - with or without an expression pedal.

Connected between a guitar and the input of a Fender Hot Rod Deville 410 on its More Drive channel, the pedal is noisy, even when the guitar volume is rolled down to zero. (As if there is an extractor fan running in a room nearby.)
