some_dude Raging BB Gunologist Aug 15, 2004 #2 Re: EMG 60 in neck The 60's supposed to have very good clean tones. I've never tried one personally. I use an 85 and I get great clean tones out of it, so I'm going to stick a 60 in another guitar to see how it works out.....

Zerberus Baron Von Shred Aug 15, 2004 #3 Re: EMG 60 in neck Yes and no. Yes to the pickup. But No because the EMGs and the livewires won´t work together correctly without some kind of phase inverter (not sure about other possible mods needed). Try the Livewire classic
