EMG 81/Dimarzio Paf pro problems

hello, does anybody know how to wire these up in such a fashion:-

1x25K volume for emg 1x500k volume for dimarzio(neck pup) and a 3 way selector, with the middle position being the dimarzio in parallel, pos 1 the emg 81 and pos 3 the dimarzio in full humbucker mode??

I haven't found a way to do this that actually works well. As far as mixing actives/passives, the only way I found it to work was wiring it all to the passives controls, which makes the volume control less responsive on the EMG (not a problem at all for me, or most people using EMG's), or to wire the passive to a PA-2, and then to the switch.

These are the quick and dirty option and the proper way, respectively ;)

That said, I must be one of the "not most people", because if I don´t have a smooth taper from 100% to 0% on my volume and tone pots I go totally ballistic, EMG or not ;)

81/Paf pro combo sounds like an awful strange combination. The 81's gonna blow that sucker out of the water in terms of output. Whuteva floats ya bizzoat.

I actually used to have a setup with an 85 and passives. The volume control and tone actually acted like a switch to the 85. This was fine though cause I wasn't looking to roll down the volume or tone.

Um... I am not looking to mix the 2 and btw the guitar is a rg3120, I woulda gone with a 60 in the neck. The problem is I cant route the neck cavity such as the bridge due to the guitars design... I shoulda just got a DK1...lol..all i really want is the emg on its own then the switch in the middle to be the dimarzio in parralel hence not a mix of the active and passive.. i think itll work but i aint got a clue for the wiring..haha
