EMG/Duncan- mixing wiring question

Hey all, having directly swapped my EMGs (and sold 'em) and plugged my new Blackouts in with the quik connect system, I now have a complete set of Blackouts wiring leftover. I am working on a guitar project for a friend who wants EMGs installed and my question is can I use the Blackouts wiring for this with no issues? Having noticed the capacitors supplied with it are 0.47uF, will this make any difference to the tone/performance of the EMGs? I notice quite often with installing humbuckers the cap value is 0.22uF.
Thanks in advance for any help with this.

Re: EMG/Duncan- mixing wiring question

The Quik Connect wiring loom of both manufacturers works in exactly the same way. 9 volt pickups of either brand will run on the cabling of either brand.

Whenever possible, I change out the green EMG capacitor to a 0.47uF. (I like my tone pots to actually do something.) The new EMG VLPF-G supplied with their Solderless wiring system is an improvement on the earlier green cap but not by an enormous amount.
