EMG EXG Help

I've hit a bit of a snag. I installed the EXG on my guitar in addition to the passive pickups (which is supposed to be possible). However, it just doesn't sound right to my ears. I've double checked everything and it appears to be wired correctly, but I can't remember if the ground wire from the bridge should be lifted or not. I know it is removed for active pickups, but this is just the active mid control with the stock pot and passive pickups. EMG was no help. Can anyone confirm or deny?

Re: EMG EXG Help

The bridge ground should remain connected.

More importantly, the EMG-EXG is a treble and bass boost with a slight midrange cut. Their mid booster accessory is called the -SPC.
