:biglaugh: Just put a pair of Ragin Cajuns in my Music Man 65/210. They replaced a pair of alnico Webers, Blue Pup and Silver Ten. Finally, the amp sounds like I want it to! All this time it just didn't sound quite right, but everybody is so hot on the Blue Pup/Silver Ten combo that I thought that couldn't be the problem. But that's what it was! Hoowee! Don't get me wrong, the Webers are beautiful speakers. Just not for this amp. So all I had to do was change from ribbed cone, brit-voiced alnicos to smooth cone american-voiced ceramics! Sorry to go on but it's been a long strange trip to get the amp to where I want it, and there were many moments of despair along the way. But now I've got that rich and dirty bluesy sound that I've been looking for. So all is well. Yea!
