Eminence Cannabis Rex break in

I put a C-Rex in my HRDX III a week or so ago....I have had one rehearsal and 2 gigs played on it and it still is stiff. Anyone know how many hours it takes to soften one of these puppies up?

Loud and hard.

Speakers usually take at least 20 hours to break up at moderate gigging volumes, IIRC.

For what it's worth, my C Rex has never felt stiff to me.

Thanks.....I was hoping it was a longer break in.....I think the speaker is pretty good, so far....still hoping it opens up just a tad.

It's often worth it though...hemp cone speakers will sound good new but even better once broken in and no matter how hard you push 'em they refuse to cone cry.

I can live with the break in....I do like sturdy stuff.
