All I can say is - awesome! You just can't judge a speaker until it's broken in. It has become juicier. Mids started coming out, treble is softer, bass fairly tight, and wicked harmonics. Some people have said it's a bit mid scooped, but I don't think so. The mids are more balanced than a Private Jack, but it has a beautiful mid range. It's not honky like a Governor, and not spiky like a V30. It's just a fantastic speaker. I've been using it with my XTC so I can tell this speaker is a lot more versatile than one might think. It has a fantastic clean tone, and all the blues sounds are there. In fact, it has a better clean sound than my V30.
