I'm considering this amp, but I've heared little about it so I thought I'd check the net alittle before traveling to the musicstore to try it (the nearest decent shop is over an hour away) So any experiences with it or clips would be much appreciated. The amp will be used to mainly black and thrash metal.

I have one which I enjoy very much. If you're only playing thrash and black metal you're missing out on a lot of the versitility of this amp (namely the clean and crunch channels, which are great), but it does do those styles well. I only rarely use the high gain lead channel, it has so much gain even though the dial is only at 10 o'clock. It will be a bit buzzy and muddy with that much gain at bedroom levels, but that's to be expected. Never had any problems with it in over 6 months, and I'm still amazed by the sounds it produces.
