ENGL Screamer combo screams?!

Hi all. I recently bought this kickass tube-combo. This is my first tubeamp :fingersx:
anyway I recently wax potted my pickups because in order to avoid squels @ high volumes.
Today I tested the amp with the higher volume I can use (at the moment I play @ home ).
I have 3 pickups:
-SHR1 neck (Hot rails)
-SCR1 middle (Cool rails)
-SH8 bridge (Invader)

I tested the amp with these settings:
-Both high gain+lead channel activated
-Lead gain:12/12
-Lead Volume 8/12
-EQ settings: Bass @ 5 Middle @ 5 Treble @ 7
-Presence: 7
-Reverb: 2
-Master volume: Almost 1 and a half...

With the cool rails the guitar is in peace
When I activate either the hot rails/invader I get unmanagable squels....
Should I wax them again?

Less gain -> 7/12

I run the presence knob @ 9 o'clock and treble is down at 11 o'clock.

Lead volume at 10 o'clock and the master around 9 o'clock.

Try this.

way too much gain and presence combined with high channel volume is prone for horrible feedback. Like strangesoudn said you should turn down a little and see what happens.
