Does anyone think they could tell me what i might be looking at for a price if i want to trade in/sell my epi lp custom? alpine white, excellent condition, has a JB bridge and Jazz neck pickup. Thanks!

Re: Epi LP

Probably $450 tops...and that's if it's in excellent condition....and that's with a case. However, your best bet is to take those Duncans out and sell it with the stock pickups. Just because it had aftermarket pickups in it really doesn't mean a thing.

Re: Epi LP

If I were buying one that's all I'd pay. Tragic - because it might be a player...Might go 5-ish with the Duncans.

Re: Epi LP

Yeah, take the sd pups out, bro. You'll still get the same price for the guitar and you can either sell or keep the pups.

Re: Epi LP

If "trade-in" is referring to somewhere like guitar center, definitely not worth it. But I agree; take out the pups. Stock is usually the best way to get the best value for your gear, in my experience.

True. Having $200 worth a great-sounding American made PU's won't have much impact on the price, so you're best off talking them out. Sad but true. keep them for the next project.

If you want to know what a used guitar's worth, look at what's been sold on eBay. That's the tops they go for. That's the real world. You'll get much less for it in a music store.

Re: Epi LP

If you are wanting to sell it, lucid lunatic is looking to buy one in the buy/sale thread......he's a good guy. Like 2nd page, I think.
