what are the differences between the Standard+ and the Classic+
I don't know if this is the norm but my Epi LP Classic PLus w/quilt top has a solid mahogany body with a solid maple cap. When I first took it apart and saw solid wood I was bit surprised but that also explained why it sounded so good too.Indie P Bass said:wood type, too. The standard plus is made out of two pieaces of mahognoney/alder laminate, while the classic plus is a pice of mahogoney/alder laminate with a maple cap.
