Epiphone sg G400 Video clip

Nice tone and I really love your vibrato man, tastey. How many watts is that Univox?

Cool dude - those are neat amps... I had one years ago (like in 1980) that I picked up for 50 bucks from the back room of some music store. I recall replacing the 12AU7 in the PI section with a 12AX7 and getting a little more gain out of it... I remember running it through some old Sunn cab I had at the time and played it until I fried it a few years later. That was the amp that taught me what 450 VDC feels like when you lay your finger on a live filter cap :) Wish I had it now. For that matter, I wish I had *any* of the amps I owned over the years that I got rid of.

As always, I dig your sound, playing and feel.

You look like Bumblefoot from GnR!

Is it a Silverburst SG?

Pretty nice clip man

They are great amps, actually far exceeding my expectations now that I have a couple. Plus I think they look really cool, in a 70s sort of way. I have messed a bunch with tubes, it is very picky cause it can sound off with just one wrong pre. I have run an ax7 and at7 and an au7, I like them all actually. This clip has a Mullard au7 in there, it has a purr that I really like. Kinda gets a Joe Walsh/James Gang vibe, which I am into these days.

My playing was not great on this one, but, I kinda enjoy the rough edges...

Thanks for the listen!
