Epiphone Sheraton or Telecaster 72 thinline.
Im in the market for a humbucker equipped guitar and I'm torn between these two. Anyone have any experience with these and want to help me make my decision?

Re: Epiphone Sheraton or Telecaster 72 thinline.

Decision's easy for me: Sheraton. The 335 shape/design just seems to produce nice tones with a variety of PU's. They're very comfortable to hold, standing or sitting, because the body isn't thick. A good set of PAF's in a 335 is hard to beat.

Simple answer. If you want warm sound go Sheraton, if you're cold person go Thinline. ;)

I too would probably opt for the Sheraton. My 335s are getting a lot of play time lately.

Another option for you might be one of the G&L ASAT Tributes. Several different pickup combinations, so you might find something interesting there.

Jap 72 Thinline pickups are a different beast to the US and Mex ones, about 11 plus compared to 8's.
Mate, you need a Sheraton AND a 72 Tele, and possibly a Casino too.

Are we talking current vintage, or vintage vintage?

These are two completely different beasts. What do you plan on playing?
